iSearch Connector Framework

At Intel, I had the chance to propose, design and build the foundation that powers how our internal search platform connects with many data sources. Before this, we depended on a vendor’s tool that was slow, rigid, and hard to maintain — every new connection meant weeks of waiting and uncertainty. I created a custom connector framework that automated this entire process, allowing engineers to plug in new data sources from Denodo, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs with just a few configuration steps. The result: development cycles that once took multiple sprints can now be completed in hours or days, with far better visibility, consistency, and control. This framework has become a core enabler for Intel’s internal knowledge systems — turning complexity into a repeatable, reliable process.
